Nada Koussa received the crown from her predecessor, Yasmina Zaytoun, who held the title for two consecutive years and was also the first runner-up in the Miss World pageant. The ceremony was graced by the stunning performances of Lebanese superstar Elissa, who delivered three captivating songs.

Runners-Up and Sentimental Moments

Sara Lynn Abu Jad was named the first runner-up, while Gaëlle Balian secured the second runner-up position.

During her speech, outgoing queen Yasmina Zaytoun expressed her gratitude for the experience and her love for Lebanon. “Two years ago, my name changed from Yasmina to Lebanon,” she said. “Thank you to Beirut, which continues to celebrate joy, and thank you to the South, my homeland, which teaches us resilience every day. Thank you to every Lebanese person who still believes in Lebanon.”

Reflecting on her global achievement, Zaytoun added, “We made history when I became the first runner-up in Miss World. Let me, Yasmina, thank everyone who stood by me, especially my family who has been with me from the very beginning, and the Ministry of Tourism.”

She concluded with a heartfelt message: “My story, like the story of every Lebanese person, is not over. It has just begun. Thank you, thank you Lebanon.”
